The Graham Fenton Experience Limited is the UK’s largest independent film production company that specialises solely in high quality, creatively styled wedding day films and family events. Established in 1985 by Graham Fenton, known in the industry as The Legend, his pioneering style and creative flare quickly made him the acclaimed leader in his field.

Building a team of talented cameramen and editors, to date, The Experience has won more prestigious awards for wedding day videography than any other UK company. These include winner of UK Best Wedding Video 1998, 1999 and 2000, the WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association) International Gold Award for Creative Excellence in 2001, the Bronze Award in 2002 and 2003, and a Finalist Award in 2004.

In February 2004 using work produced by the current production team, these standards were instrumental in gaining the company their corporate membership of the industry’s leading professional organisation, The Institute of Videography.

The Graham Fenton Experience Limited received news in 2005 that they had been honoured with another prestigious award in Orlando at The 4Ever Group Convention. This award, presented by EventDV, is to recognise the twenty-five most influential videographers worldwide and those who have brought special talents and innovations to the industry. The Graham Fenton Experience Limited won this award on both counts.

In addition to these outstanding awards and achievements the Sony Corporation also chose Graham and the company’s work to represent the UK in an international promotional video.

Also responsible for the innovative concept of the wedding day music video the company has attracted media interest resulting in their work being featured numerous times on national and international television. Having filmed over 2000 weddings in the UK, Europe and America and with the team to cover up to five events in any one day, The Graham Fenton Experience Limited is often in demand by the rich and famous, including TV personalities, music celebrities, footballers, golfers and politicians.

Graham’s wife Janet joined The Experience in 1999 and brought fresh organisational and business skills to the company. With her boundless enthusiasm and vision Janet has played a major role in promoting The Experience’s national and international profile and is recognised by the WEVA Organisation in America and the Institute of Videography in the UK for her personal contribution to the business. Over the years Graham, and now Janet, have been honoured to speak at The IOV and WEVA conventions in recognition of their professionalism and the respect they have gained in the industry.

It was always Graham’s vision to raise the creative standards of wedding and event videography and to change the way in which it was perceived by the public and the media industry alike. Whilst he had gone a long way towards achieving that vision, when he lost his battle against cancer in October 2003, it was his dying wish that his company should continue to promote his dream.

In August 2004, at the WEVA convention in Las Vegas, a further unique award entitled The Ambassador was presented to Janet in memory of Graham, honouring his energy, enthusiasm and ability to inspire other WEVA members.

Janet Fenton now runs the company, and together with camera crews and editors trained by Graham, they continue to uphold the high creative standards for which he will always be remembered. Janet is also a fully qualified registrar, experienced event planner and a keen photographer. She also serves as an on-day organiser and creative director, making sure everything runs smoothly on as many weddings as possible.

In 2006, the company shifted focus to concentrate on developing training and delivering seminars, sharing their knowledge and experience with other videographers in the field. In April 2007 Janet became an Executive Member of the Institute of Videography, and is a member of the judging panel for the category of Best Wedding Video for The IOV’s annual awards.

More recently, their camera crews have received recognition for their own independent productions at The IOV Awards in October 2007, winning the award for Best Open, runner up in Best Short Film and a finalist for Best Documentary.

The Graham Fenton Experience Limited was also the inspiration behind a new exciting television channel now available on Sky. Wedding TV launched in 2007, and many of their weddings have been featured on shows such as Wedding Breakfast, Real Weddings, Lights! Camera! Weddings!, Dedications, Magic Moments, Marryoke, Wedding Experts, Perfect Days and new for 2008, Happy Ever After.

‘Keeping the Dream Alive’ remains the company’s motto and Graham’s special magic will continue to live on through the business; portraying wedding day and family memories in his unique and special way.
